When legions of monstrous creatures, known as Kaiju, rise from the sea, a war begins that will take millions of lives and consume humanity's resources for years on end. To combat the giant Kaiju, a special type of weapon is devised: massive robots, called Jaegers, which are controlled simultaneously by two pilots whose minds are locked in a neural bridge. But even the Jaegers are proving nearly defenseless in the face of the relentless Kaiju. On the verge of defeat, the forces defending mankind have no choice but to turn to two unlikely heroes.

The Deeper Story
I really liked how this novelization really tied many events better than the movie, it really helps the reader dive deep into the monster-verse and understand more about it. The audiobook reader was outstanding and read it as it should have been read, outstanding!

fun insight to the titans
getting perspective from the titans is one of my favoeote part of the adaptions. and it follows the movie very well with some extra scenes to add a bit more to the story without changing anything

Excellently written, wonderfully read
I was delighted to see that GxK had a novelization. I love reading them after I see a movie because they fill in so much background and so many details that have to be edited from the film. This one was a delight, and will add an extra layer of enjoyment every time I rewatch the movie.
